These things are a blast! Takes a little while to get used to but after a few minutes you should be up and running. The main this is to figure out the trim (balance) by pushing a button left/right, once you figure that out it is the same every time and only takes a few seconds during take-off to achieve stability. They are loads of fun and I love to terrorize the Mrs. a bit with it and the kiddies as well, whizzing around their heads and what not. I wouldn't recommend this for young kids (under 7 or so) because they are kind of delicate and can be broken with too many crash's and rough handling. My 3 year old was playing with mine and managed to bend something so that it would rocket off to the left and slam into the wall upon take off.
